Customer Testimonials!

October 2004
Polar Boat Owner - 1800BB & 2300WA

To the Entire Cape Ann Sales and Service Team -
I wanted to take a moment to send a sincere "thank you" to all of your support, help, insights and attention during our recent purchase of 2004 Polar 23' WA. Allow me to explain why:

First, throughout the past year of using my old 18' Polar Bay Boat, your staff was always helpful and available when I needed a question answered or service; even when you were busy juggling the needs of other customers. Because of this, we were compelled to be a return customer.

Second, as we considered the 23' WA, we visited your dealership several times throughout the year, either at boat shows or in Gloucester. Each and every time you were willing to take time out to answer our questions and educate us. Our final purchasing decision was a natural no-brainer. You even encouraged us to view the competitions' models and ask you candid questions about our concerns. When you didn't know the answer, you didn't hide the fact -- Instead, you were honest and committed yourself to get the answer for us. And you got back to us promptly. We appreciate that.

Third, Jeff Arsenault and Tobin were so accomodating both at the In-Water Boat Show and during the Demo Days at the Marina. Never did we feel like we were being pressured. Despite all the other customers at the Show, you both set aside ample time to ensure we purchased a customized package that will suit our needs for years to come.

Fourth, Keith Willa went above and beyond expectations by not only sea trialing the boat with me, but he literally escorted me home as a "personal Captain" of my new vessel. It was a 9-mile ride in seas that frequently challenged us with 12' swells. What a way to break in a boat! What an opportunity to see what a Polar can truly handle! I've told everyone I know about that experience and what Keith did to make it happen.

Finally, the whole experience didn't completely sink in until on Halloween Sunday when - during an unusual 70 degree day - I began pulling cod after cod over the sides of my new boat in 170' of water near Stellwagen Bank. At that moment, my world was utterly perfect. Thanks so much for making us proud customers of a 23' WA Polar!

Sincerely,

Bill Stevens (Capt. Crabby Bill)

Drew, and the crew of Cape Ann Marina,

Derek and I wanted to send along a letter of thanks, and recommendation concerning the pair of Suzuki 140 four strokes we purchased from you. Between April and November we ran more than two hundred charters for bass, bluefish and bluefin tuna. In that time we put 1095 hours on the motors, and they performed without even a hint of trouble. In the past we have lost an average of 16 days per year to engine problems, and in our short season every day is critical. Furthermore, the economy and ease of maintenance was outstanding, and even the routine oil changes were inexpensive. I can not say enough about the confidence I have in these engines, and the pleasure I had running them in all types of conditions. Please feel free to use us as a reference to anyone looking to buy motors or just curious about the performance.
Thank You-

2003
Polar Dream Boat Owner - 1900CC

First and foremost my son, Mark Santoro and I thank you and Polar Boats for informing us that Godfrey Marine was planning to add a 19 Ft. CC blue water craft to its line up for 2003. As you may recall you and my son had several discussions regarding this topic.
I took title to my DREAM BOAT, a Polar- PS1900 CC in June 2003 and can truthfully say that the wait was well worth it!!!
I believe our boat may be the 1st Polar-PS1900 CC that was launched along the Connecticut shore line in 2003. Once the word gets out about Polar's Quality and Value, I expect to see many more of them out there competing with us for those prize stripers.
This boat's layout and performance is everything that the reviews claimed it had and then some!!! It serves us well on in-shore night fishing trips for stripers and off-shore fishing trips in both calm and the all to frequent Long Island Sound chop.
At the time of my purchase, there were no Polar Dealers in Connecticut and of the 2 near us, we chose Cape Ann Marine in Gloucester, MA. Polar's association with Cape Ann Marina is an excellent match as QUALITY and SERVICE go hand in hand!!! Cape Ann's sales manager, Jeff Arsenault, is a first class dealer , who knows the Polar Line, is not a hard sell negotiator and aims to deliver customer needs and satisfaction.
Also, to be noted is that the Cape Ann Marina staff is knowledgeable and thrives on delivering top notch service. As such, the 1.5 hour drive to their facility is a small price to pay for top notch service that is DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!!
Another note of thanks is due here regarding the bow cushion that you and Jeff gave as a gift. Five of my 6 grandchildren are avid "FISH HEADS" and will enjoy the soft bow ride to the action spots ( the 2 year old will be joining the crew very soon). I will think of both of you as I watch the kids enjoy the ride.
I wish you and Jeff a HAPPYand HEALTHY 2004!!!
Sincerely- a Polar Dream Boat Owner, Peter Santoro
